    Arc induction filter

Anyone know where to get a genuine arc super indiction filter for an arc induction box apart from the usual places like rhdjapan and nengun.

    Any uk suppliers?

I don't think they have one mate, have you tried e-mailing them direct?

You could try Perfect Run, I've imported stuff through them before.

The 180sx box uses panel filter A

Alternatively the filter from a Merc SLK230 (2004) will fit, K&N do a aftermarket filter for it, part number 33-2767

Double check all the sizes and stuff are right first though, K&N have dimensions on their website.

Yea I don't know of any ARC stockists in the country, did they recently go bust or something because their website looks really amateurish.

    I think so. I think it's a type A I need. I'll just buy one from rhdjapan

Painful expensive like though, are they even re-usable?

I'd be tempted to buy both, run the K&N, and then when it comes time to sell you've got a fresh (and rare) ARC filter to proudly put on display.

Couldn't you make one, a few bits of Ali sheet, rivets and some sealant. Job done.

I have the box. I need the filter. Filters don't work well when they're made out of aluminium and rivets

ARC are long gone aren't they. Might be better to buy some filter foam from Pipercross or the like Hamish.

They have a website with a strangely different name, I wonder if they collapsed and then restarted?
They go by the name ARC Brazing now.

ITG look like they do a foam filter so no need to custom make one, but if you want a genuine ARC item it's going to have to be imported.
