Why not just get a 1/8 bsp to an3 adaptor and tap it into your thermostatic plate on the pre cooler side and run a section of an3 braided brake pipe to the sender

I've used an m10x1 femsle socket and forced the 1/8npt sender into it with some sealer and it's never leaked as there almost the same and that's been done on 2 cars for a total of 6 years

Good idea but the idea of swapping at the stock location is mostly because there is no need to take anything apart. If it's really 1/8 bspt there shouldn't be any problem, I guess I must have gotten the wrong adapter.

im sure NPT tapers in at the end, so if you look at the thread from the side it will be a cone shape..

It's been done before by a couple of people, I'm pretty sure there are threads on here or Driftworks?
