Replacing HSD Top Mount Bearing/Bush - Coilover knock fix.

    Hey Guys,

Anyone had experience with changing these over before? would like to give it a go myself this weekend but are any specialist tools needed to get the old one out or to press the new one in? Any help would be appreciated, as I'm bored with knocking coilovers now

Yeah mate did mine a few weeks ago real easy I knocked it out with a socket and knocked it back in with a slightly bigger socket to fit on the outer rim of that bearing

Ah good stuff, will get on with this tomorrow then.

Big question, did it fix the coilover knocking? I assume thats why you changed yours?

Cool. I hope it fixes the knocking.

I assume the whole unit has to come out or it can just be done from the top in engine bay side?

Just reporting back to say it was an easy job swaping these over, the knocking issue is now gone as its the creeking noise when moving the steering. The old bearing had a fair amount of play, one especially so they were due for a change.

    Thanks for all the help.
