    Strange catch can issue SR20DET

When I recently bought my 200 it came with a catch can + pcv delete and it keeps popping the breather filter. Is this due to being installed wrong?

Nope mine fell apart too, it's probably cause the filters blocked

It'd run better with that plumbed back into the inlet whilst still going through the catch can.

Most likely the filter has worn out from the oil vapour or worst case the engine is breathing really heavy
But I'd do as above and plumb it back into the pre turbo pipe

So you're saying replace the breather with a hose to the inlet pipe?

This my second breather, the first one was on before I had the car but the second one has only lasted just over a month before splitting

Correct yea which is how it is as standard. Essentially you are introducing the catch can into this line to catch vapour. Venting it to atmosphere removes the draw through effect created by the inlet on the crankcase
