    New Top Gear Season 2

It works! They've looked at the presenter strengths and used them. No more Stig.. Chris Harris.

I felt it was much more like the old top gear and a vast improvement on the previous series. It still lacks the same rapport of jezza and Co but it's early days and hopefully this changes

I enjoyed it, it was fun without being too hammed up.

They didn't manage to hold the interest of my wife though, which the previous trio did - but hopefully with sime to mesh as a team they will do it.

It was also nice to see a fresh look and feel to the studio, they actually made it their own, rather than trying to fill previous shoes.

Instantly better the second the feature car gets driven properly. That FXXK piece was superb for me; Harris has got the spuds for it.

Unlike Clarkson, who says turning the traction control off in a decent Ferrari makes it awful:

    Nice one, Jezza.

Shows how respected Harris is, there is no way Ferrari would have let Jezza drive that

Was very good, having the star there longer and driving a decent car worked as well. It was like the previous TG when it first started, decent car content with some banter.

Some good chemistry from the outset.

Re old TG, it was a long time before they real friendship became apparent with the old 3. It certainly was not straight away. I think they have made a dam good start.

Considering Harris called Ferrari out a few years ago over their dodgy dealings and got banned by them as well!

Thought it worked well, and Rory's Taxi running off without him was pretty amusing.

Although it has to be said, if that same challenge would have been done by the other lot they would have used £500 rag-top's.

A few corny moments but better than many of the old Clarkson TGs

Watched the first episode of the 2nd series recently, thought it was ok but nothing new or exciting. Like Chris Harris and Matt LeBlanc but find Rory really annoying.

Rory doesn't seem to get much to do. He seems to have been allocated May's role but can't really carry it off. Needs to start being himself more. I liked him in the first series.

I proper LMAO at the taxi in E1 falling off it's pile of rocks and departing across the Steppe.

Yeah but that could just as well have been May. Tries to be clever, encounters "unexpected" comedy slapstick moment, wins in the end.

I'm quite enjoying the new series and I'm just catching up on Extra Gear on BBC iPlayer which is definitely worth a watch; the rather
large smash is mentioned and Harris is pretty funny taking the 5 celebs out in the GT86.
