    sr20det engines

    over the years i have obtained 2 det,s over unknown condition, as im going to sell them would it be worth droping the sump and checking the crank, and removing the head to check the bores, pistons or just sell them as is.

    Well I don't think you've got the option now mate
    If you don't then when you come to sell everyone will assumed you checked and saw they were ****ed

    on a serious note though if you can check and/or get pictures you can definitely ask abit better money, or get an easier sale with some proof the engine is decent

    i was goint to sell them for rebuild, around £200 each, i was going to rebuild one but cannot be bothered now, got 87mm cp pistons, new cam followers, new hla's, ported and modified head squash area removed, and loads or other rebuild parts i need to sort out and sell
