    Which Dump Valve and where?

    Hi guys,

If you have fitted an after market closed loop dump valve, where did you put it and which one did you use?

I am at stage 2a and running a bar. Mine isn't holding pressure at a bar so will be changing it.

I know it needs to sit closest to the butterfly, but that mean the dump pipe back to after the AFM is a mile away.

Anyone done anything clever which they want to share?

Also which Dump valves are good?

Ssqv is quite expensive. Ive got a FS thread here somewhere for the recirc adapters.

SSQV S14/S15 kit in stock location tied into stock tubes. I think the kit came with recirc adapter in the box, don't recall.

I personally don't mind paying a little more for the chassis specific kits since they fit up easier. I think Greddy has a kit also, but it replaces the hot pipe and uses a short hose back into the intake.

I've got a forge recirc dv and its great, also makes a great noise when you change gear, no flutter just a sharp metalic ping

200+ for a ssqv seems a bit steep! And then there are the fake ones for 30 quid lol!

I ordered something different. Will let you know my findings

Anybody fitted one of these? The TMS thing is quite interesting. Faster throttle response

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371792851392

I've heard a lot of good things about GFB (admittedly mostly from MCM)

I've gone with an SSQV, dumping to atmosphere because i still like the childish noise, but i've mounted mine in the less than ideal place of between the turbo and intercooler.

I mounted mine further down the cold pipe more to the right hand side of the bay. But after reading up on it. The DV should be mounted as close to the butterfly as poss for optimal release.

MCM is where I have seen and heard about the GFB. Never heard of anyone putting one on a 200sx on here. I might invest

I went and brought a gfb deceptor pro 2 and I love the thing. I did away with the stock recirculation pipe and just ran a silicon hose. I like having the option of dump or a recirc. You can tone the car down or make it shoot flames.

I actually imported from Oz I emailed them for some advice and they were really helpful. tbh though I ****ed the import tax was a bit of a sting. And then I found them on either corby motorsport or demontweaks for the same price as I paid minus the tax.

I just Google after posting. Demon tweeks have them. That deceptor pro 2 is well fancy! Lol

I just want a recirc that holds a bar solid.
