These science deniers dare to question NASA everyone knows that there are penguins on Mars.

That's not very nice, I will lose no end of sleep because of that comment.

Going off subject but isn't it about time you started supporting this club especially as you post so much on here and use it as part of your therapy for your illness, I know everyone has financial difficulties from time to time so I fully understand if you can't afford it.

Why don’t we dial it down and come back to the topic before it gets messy. I am just asking what’s in for NASA and the like, if the world is flat and they’re spending all this time and money trying to make us believe it’s a globe, what’s the pay off?

I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your girl Ash, I didn't mention her at all, you have mentioned in a previous post that you were receiving cognitive therapy which led me to believe you suffer from mental illness, my posts in general are just banter, there is no malicious intent on my part.

I have answered your question already, read post 316, evidence below to back up what I have said:

After quite a long time of not saying anything, I'm going to bite...

Which bits of the earth do you think are at the edges ?

What personal experience do you have that suggests that the earth is not round ?

I've flown from England to California via the North Pole and I've flown from California to England via the US East Coast and the Atlantic.

I've flown from California to Thailand across the Pacific and from Thailand to England across Europe.

I've flown from England to South Africa across Europe and back.

I've looked out of the window at various points and seen what I was expecting to see.

That and the flight times have never been consistent with a flat earth.

I didn’t ask the question until post #317 so I don’t see how you answered it in #316. And even that is Just something about unicorns.

What would be the point in trying to convince people the world was a globe? Why not just say it’s flat if that’s what they saw? It doesn’t make any sense.

I decided to check this claim out properly.
Using my nice occulas rifter thing, one of those fancy hats you put on that makes you look a bit like robocop and gives you virtual reality which is apparently reality thats virtual - so it says.
Anyway i put it on, opened up google earth VR and did like superman and flew out to a few hundred miles above our nice wee marble.

And guess what, its a bloody sphere. No way can you mistake it with these things on, its like being there but less cold and unable to breath-like stuff.

Yep conclusive proof, end of thread.

Folks, there’s some not very nice sentiments going on here. Play nice please. Keep the thread on topic and cut the personal jibes or the mod-stick will be deployed. Not cool

I was watching a documentary about the U2 spy plane last night, I’m glad they bothered to fake all of those onboard shots, I mean the curvature of the earth seemed so real, I’m glad we have an enlightened member of the sxoc on hand to tell us it’s all fake, 100s of years of lies seems plausible

The thing is though. It has been 50 years since they landed on the moon. Why haven’t they gone back?

    c. Even it was made of cheese or something useful it’d be a ballache to either get it back to Earth or get enough crackers and red wine up there to enjoy it
