    Misfire and no boost

Hi, I have changed my alternator belt on my s14a and I now have running issues. The car idles ok, but when you increase the revs the engine seems to misfire. I have tried to drive it and very low on power, pops and bangs from exhaust and slightly egg smell. As it stands the car is undrivable and I removed the following while changing belt (all items are oem) -
    Battery
    Dump valve
    Air filter
Hard pipe from intercooler to intake plenum.
    Fan cowel
    Viscous fan

Everything is back in its rightful place and before this I had no running issues at all.

Any ideas? As I now do not have a car for work! =)

Could a boost leak cause this? I guess me taking off hard pipe that runs across top of cowling could have caused issues with the wing mount?

Car is on 117k with original wing mount.

If it is the wing mount what is the best thing to replace with without breaking the bank?

Thanks in advance guys! I used the search but nothing specific to my problem came up!

When the engine got misfires, the main problem is that there is unburnt fuel came out of the cylinders which finally got another spark inside the exhaust pipes......

I would suggest checking for any vacuum leak at intercooler pipe after the Mass Airflow sensor (MAF).......Also, check the blow off valve (BOV) re-cirrculation pipelines......

Check the plugs, visually inspect the coil packs for any cracks or damage

Could a missing jubilee clip on recirc dump valve (top rubber hose, not hard pipe from pressure side) cause this? I will check everywhere else, but I am assuming wmic...

This has only happened after changing alternator belt, before everything was fine with no misfire. Also idles just fine, this is only when on throttle.

Coil packs only break down under load to start with. Changing one thing can show up weaknesses in other things too. Spark plugs are an easy check, also might be all dirty from the misfire.

Check the coolant temp sensor connection just above the alternator, it might have been dislodged while changing the belt.

If the coolant temp sensor is disconnected it will over-fuel like a mofo!

This was all down to a broken Maf in the end. No boost leak. Car pulls like a train now, must have been dodgy for a while....
