Yeah i agree with that. The sky F1 team are good, although Crofty can be annoying.

I'm starting to feel really sorry for Alonso and rather pissed off with Maclaren for wasting such a good talent that in a good car should be winning races.

Crofty is a disaster zone. I cannot stand him.

Looks like it'll be an entertaining race today. Looking forward to Lewis and Seb fight it out.

Would have been if Grosjean hadn't taken them both out at the first pit stop. Resultant safety car really messed with the order. Inspired choice by Alonso to go full wets when it looked to be drying out; who'd have thought McLaren would win a race in this era.

Great first lap by Max, DR must be pissed to be beaten by his team mate who started 11 places behind him Seems no one told Giovinazzi not to boot it in the wet as you go under the media centre

Surely he should work that shit out for himself though. He's not new to race cars. I guess the torque element of the hybrid cars takes a bit of getting used to.

Bottas spun behind the safety car, I think these cars are a lot more work than previous years. The tyres seem especially shit when cold.

Bottas spin was epic funny though. That's going to haunt him.

Alonso is to miss Monaco GP. He's running in the Indy 500 instead. Monaco could have been where Mclarens are most competitive as it is mostly corners. No idea who he is being replaced with yet. Button is officially reserve driver, but they also have young driver Lando Norris - and that has to be the coolest name ever

It's pretty random. Honda engines Indy car isn't it? Would laugh my arse off if it broke down. May make the race worth watching though.

Just went to watch the Bahrain GP on 4od online. Cringeworthy AF. Start the programme get presented with a whole minute 40 worth of adverts, get through that and want to skip the intro bit and go straight to the race - not knowing where it starts you plonk the scroll bar down somewhere and hope, not there, but you've got to wait for more ads, then scroll forward, more ads. **** OFF

I think this year will be a bit more exciting than 2016, Vettel seems hungry for the win rather than 'hope we can keep up with merc for a few laps' . I feel for Alonso though since he should be up fighting with the top guys, I would like to see him back at Ferrari and replace Raikonen but doubt that would happen.

Great last stint by Bottas under huge pressure.

I want to see Massa and Vettals conversation.
