After getting to a point where the rear end/ boot/fuel tank was done enough to be abe to work out the rear axle position etc the next stage involved a lot of this
Tubing the front end, negates some of the weight gain of the iron small lblock motor and fibreglass wings are relatively easy to find compared to good condition steel wings
I maybe jumped the gun a little bit and purchased the interior from Dals business partner. Surprisingly fits well and can make use of the door cards etc to bastardize and better fir the ovlov. More comfortable than the original, doesn't look soo new its massively out of place
I know, in the process of being sorted
Nice update, love this project.
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
Next up, starting to sort the rear end, volvo turbo rear axle (hopefully its enough for the torque of the lump, seen some swedish 940 turbos run silly power with the standard rear axle set up so i'm mildly hopeful. Te axle had some 4-link brackets welded to it when purchased and i got another 2nd hand 4-link set up from fleabay which seems suitable.
Airbags mocked up for positioning
Rear bags/rear axle/bag mounts mocked up
Just for shits and giggles I stole Pablos wheels
Loving the look/idea.
Problem?!
Solution?!
Undo everything that has been done at the rear to date, shorten the half shafts and rebuild again. Perfecto Can gain about 4-5 inches on each side which should give enough clearance to run a 10"+ wide rim out back. Think the 18's are a little too big for the car so will likely go 17's.
what are the seats from?
IS200, got the full interior
seats look nice, well played
That Interior looks like it was made to fit...
Nice

Dal had already put in the car so when i turned up and saw them I just paid to what the guy wanted (£200 iirc). No brainer for me
Nothing has happened for the last few months, just been waiting for parts to arrive from the states.
Thanks to Summit Racing my new shifter finally turned up today. Can now measure where its can sit in relation to moi and get the center tunnel sorted out.
