    Hi guys,

New to SXOC and wondered if SXOC does Bromley Pageant of Motoring?

I suggest we do it every year but get told there is no interest
Having said that, I went with a mate last year and queued up for over 90 minutes before bailing and going to an Americana day at brands instead. Bromley is infamous for being a bastid to get into

I was going to go last year, sadly my car was still stuck on a boat coming from Japan!
I'm 10 miles from Bromley and never actually tried to go before

True that. Traffic round there is a joke. Almost as bad as the Biggin Hill airshow where we sat for nearly 3 hours trying to get out.

Are the queues because of crappy one ways traffic systems in Bromley or the queues to get into the event?

Both. The organisers don't do anything to help and the year before when I did get in, the stewards were a right bunch of grumpy, awkward tossers. Everyone was complaining about them.

The thing is, its a bloody interesting show. So many different cars, its a full day's job to get round.

Only thing I can recommend is aiming to be there for 8.30 so at least you're near the front of the queue.

I don't remember you ever mentioning it to me!

Bromley is easy to get into, 3min walk to the bus stop and 30-60mins breathing in other peoples BO and listening to them whining about not getting enough benefit money etc
    bovvered?

    That sounds pervy.

If anyone is up for it this year, I wouldn't mind taking the 911.
