    **Update**

The cars wiring is all done now, it turns over, builds oil pressure etc...

Haven't started it yet because I realised after i put it all back together that I need to make a metal fuel line over the Fuel tank and back to the swirl pot...

The car is away having the exhaust, intercooler pipes & coolant pipes made at the minute so not too long and il be on the road :-)

Just made this little piece of kit to make the 5V signal from the Nissan ECU boost to 12V to the E30 Clocks.

Will update more when it's back and hopefully il make it to Japfest lol...

Nice build! Got a set of Stack Gauges in mind for mine. Like the way they are mounted to.

Awesome work so far! Just one point, I'd recommend moving the oil cooler to the side so it's not in front of the radiator, lots of people have heat soak problems as the oil cooler is always hot

Hmm okay will have to keep an eye on that. Might have to make a shield for it or something and maybe move it under the front end somewhere. Will keep an eye on temps and see how I go. Thing with my Rad is it's an M3 thats been modified, so it's physically bigger than the S14 one that's why I went with this, will have to think on with that though cheers mate

Got the car back yesterday.... absolutely over the moon with the work that's been done! Few more bits to do and I'm ready to roll!

After messing about and getting myself a unit to finish the car off.... I finally got her started...

Revs high, fuel in the oil (850cc injectors or leaking injector problem) but never the less I got her going... I ran it for around 4-5mins and drained the oil, that's when I found the fuel, no tuning what so ever has been done it was just to check it would actually run...

Anyway the best news is there is no metal bits in the oil just the usual sheen from a new built motor.

Waiting for a new prop to arrive & then it's off for mapping :-)

I would upload a video but it doesn't work on here for some reason.

What exhaust manifold are you using ? Is your turbo running a .6 or .82 a/r ? When do you expect full boost ?

    Thank you mate...

That's prompted me to give abit of an update...

New propshaft, decided to go for a GTX3071r rather than the GTX3076R... changed my fuel pressure reg to a turbosmart & it's off for mapping on Monday :-))))))

just looked through this are you running the std e30 clutch master and a sr20 slave. i have a mtech 2 that im in the proses of finishing up a ca18 transplant. can’t get a good clutch pedal feel. New e30 master and new slave on the CA box. I’m starting to think the pivot on the box is broken or the fork is bent.

were you not tempted to go for the clio brake booster as it looks like you have the space there for it (before the catch tank went in)

Haven’t updated for a while so this is where it stands....

The car has a rattle on the top end, quite loud on idle and when revved it goes away, when disconnecting the VTC solenoid it goes pretty loud and then plugging back in while running it goes for a second... so pretty confident that’s my problem... so I ordered a new one

Sorted out my fan & fuel pump issue as well, now run them both off a separate relay’s, not really sure why I didn’t do this in the first place to be honest but oh well.... I’m no professional and this is just a home build.

Took the car out for the first time properly since the map and didn’t quite realise how much bite the clutch had.... it will deffo spin up anyway...

Had to take off the welded diff to put in a bigger open diff as it was just horrid to drive... and I took it out for less than a mile lol...

Got to find out why I’m not getting any power to the idle control valve as iv got abit of a cold start issue at the moment....

Going in for paint over Christmas, get a few bits welded and get it all looking pretty.
