Nissan OEM S14a Silvia HUD how too/ help guide

    Hi guys,

After purchasing the following from Japan, I thought I would put all information in one place for a how too guide etc. For those that don't know this is one of the rarest options for a s14 kouki.

There are various guides on zilvia and other forums but the pictures don't work so they are useless and I am going to have to start from scratch.

So I currently have the following:

HUD s14a clocks - notice the third pin that turns on the HUD unit.

    HUD unit:

This will need a new LCD screen though as its knackered.

These will be fitted into a UK spec s14a.

The other parts that I think I will need are:

    JDM Kouki dash harness
Need to get my hands on a kouki JDM internal wiring diagram (must be a late version car as the s14 or zenki HUD is completely different).

Eventually I want to end up with something like this:

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Out of interest does anyone else own a 14/14a with this option fitted?

So what ive done is transferred the uk spec dials into the JDM casing so it retains the wiring and switch for the HUD. I need to work out if this will mean it will read in mph (I presume it works off the gearbox speed sensor). I would also presume if this is correct the HUD unit will display in mph too.
