I'm not a fan. Looks about 8ft off the ground and there is something that just doesn't work with the back arches/rear quater panel

Not a TVR AJP8 motor either. Rover derived engine. He will be lucky to see that money.

I was wondering why you'd put the worst straight six ever in anything, then I clicked the link, it got worse.

It looks like a Micromachine with those wheels

As Piman has stated, that'll be the Rover engine where TVR used to duck tape the ECU to the battery

Is it sitting high because it's on 18's? I'm sure if it were lowered onto a nice 16" wheel and tyre it wouldn't look half bad. Can't comment on the engine as I know nothing about them. I'm sure being a V8 it sounds quite nice though.

They sound nice, but they're so, so old and inefficient. The AJP8 was almost 100hp up on it out of the box.

I'm wondering if it's sitting high because of issues with sump clearance.
Did say they'd custom made engine mounts because it sat too low originally.

But in turn still wasn't a great engine. And they sound like a pair of 4 cylinders stuck together. At least if this is a Rover unit it will sound proper.

That's about the only positive I can think of to doing that much work though.

To each his own but flat plane crank V8s do absolutely nothing for me.

The same engine as in my dad's Chimaera. They sound absolutely lovely in my opinion but I agree that it is crazy how little power is produced from a 4.0l.
