Weather looking promising so far. I spoke too soon about the car though. Gearbox decided it only had 4 gears this morning :whack:
Last minute gearbox change it is then.
Hmm yeah, about getting the car ready, it's currently up on axle stands after i had to change over the rear oil crank seal (fresh engine just bad luck and it was seeping out). So i still need put oil in the gearbox and change the front tyres so far.

Just changed my gearbox oil to find the gaitor split! Had the front wheels balanced. Sure something else will break before saturday.

changed coolant
Sort blown dashboard my fault (thankfully fuse).

Need to do an oil change
and its going in the garage for a cambelt on friday. Did not fancy this one myself ....its got whole level of "you'll mess it up Rory"
now changing all the tyres too. Fronts are 13 years old and knackered. Rears are 11 years old lol (shame as they have decent tread)...

Its a kit car so does not go very far each year, i did not think about it when i bought it just saw sweet looking track day rubber!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!

Managed to make a frankenstein gearbox last night out of two knackered ones, gonna get it all buttoned up and back in this evening. Heading up tomorrow morning and staying over. Talk about last minute! ��
