cant get exhaust too seal

I can't get the manifold to seal against the head its driving me mad I bblames rubbish gaskets last time but just put cometic ones on and still blowing any advice would be great right now

Did you get it skimmed or faced whist it was off?

I did not . would I need the head and the manifold skimming or just the manifold ? Is this a normal thing to have to do

Normal...No!
What manifold is it? Cheap stainless could have warped slightly. Failing that did you make sure both surfaces were clean and free of old gasket?

Am taking it off now al get a metal ruler and check its straight . and yes I cleaned the faces . also it is a stainless manifold but it wasn't that cheap

Manifold flange has probably warped, If its one of ours just send it back and we will flatten it FOC as its covered under our warranty.
