Depends how anal you are with regards to your paintwork.

Car covers are a very marmite thing in the detailing world. A lot of people say they can do just as much damage as they do good from chafing against the paintowork and marring and potentially rubbing threw the paint if it's left out in the wind.

But it sounds like yours is garaged, having said that I'd still get yourself and decent one instead of a cheepo jobby. I'm currently looking at the specialisedcovers stormsheild+ for mine. It's an outdoor cover as unfortunately I have no means of keeping the car inside.

They also do some very nice looking indoor covers wich are supposedly tailor made. But there not cheep, but personally I'd rather pay the money for something decent as apposed to something that could do more damage than good.

Yeah ive got my garage now Nath , not sure how dirty it will get inside , it maybe ok but wouldn't mind one to keep the layer of dust of it as it only comes out over summer .

will check out specialised covers Nath

Need to make sure the car is spotless if using a cover too. I used to have one for the winter lay up but now the cars in a better garage at the house I don't see the need. I'm also thinking of leaving the windows open a little to allow air to move through the cabin.
