at last my S14a builds in its final throws, i need to choose a colour to paint it, it needs to be straight 2k nothing fancy, but stuck on colour, do i go eye popping or stealth.

Stealth
I would just go for a straight non metallic colour.
my track s13 is metallic green and seems to attract damage, so every time its get paintwork costs me loads because I have to,
prime
basecoat
colour coat
clear coat
if it was a solid non metallic colour then it would be
prime
paint
which would be a damn sight cheaper.

When Gould but this spaceframe and carbon Puma 4x4 for Mike Endean they used a Ford colour, solid grey, because it saved a couple of litres of paint as it covered primer and carbon so well.

I like the colour of that Ford. Dark grey does suit s bodies.

I did this a few years back and white came in on top, with pink a very close second so be careful with your colour choice

going with Ford stealth grey, really getting to like that colour
its a good colour mate, think it'll suit the 14 nicely.
