    S14 ally radiator thickness

I'm changing my radiator as mine is looking a bit rotten and beaten, so going for an alloy one but not sure what thickness to go for as I'm determined to keep the viscous fan and shroud

I've seen 42mm,48mm,52mm,53mm and 56mm I'm thinking the 42 mm one would be plenty as the car doesn't over heat currently, so doubling the core should be loads but is it really worth going for the thicker ones and risking the fan shroud not fitting

    Thanks

Buy a Koyo, it's a bolt in bolt out fitment with shroud positions.

Did the same but with a Mishimoto radiator. Straight swap but with significant increase in capacity. Nice and blingy too.

Got an apex one in mine went straight in and keeps the original shroud and fan and is about half the price of the koyo.

You can get a better thicker core put in your stock one, probably not worth it as you can get the alloy ones cheap but the stock core is shared with the Almera of all things
