Digital dashes - talk to me!

Looking into the above for Project Bastard. Only needs to do the basics - statutory warning lights, indicators, gear selection etc

Was thinking the ETB digidash 2

    Anyone got any thoughts?

It's going to be the oem management, don't need aftermarket for the time being

I'm interested in this as well, but was looking for something a little bit flashier.

I like the look of the AIM MXS Strada. Big TFT display and fancy graphics. Way overkill for what you're after though all things considered...

I haven't started investigating anything else as yet. The ETB looks pretty good for a fairly basic solution and it's a good price. Not seen much in the way of testimony though? Might be worth having a dig through the kit car sites, it looks made to go into a Locost or something similar. The only other thing I've seen that gets near it on price is the Race Technology Dash2 that big_mac mentions. That's over 600 notes though.

Well the digidash doesn't have the gear indicator feature. On to the next one up which is the Dash 2 big_mac posted up there

Dakota Digital could be worth a look as they have a big selection

Have a look at kit car sites, lots of options out there. If you are ever going stand alone and think you would need the features of a dash2 then it's well worth buying once than having to upgrade in the future
