Can my S14a possibly be Marlin Blue?

    Hey guys,

Now the proud owner of a completely stock mint condition S14a Touring!

Let me cut to the chase, the car looks way more blue than green?!
Everyone i talk to says "oh that blue one over there?" and when i compare it to the Marlin Blue S14 it looks very much similar...
Need help as im putting the Kouki rear on it and am going to need to spray it... Thanks!

P.S. was at a meet yesterday parked next to an Emerald Green 200SX and the colours looked quite different, possible different colour ratio or something?

we may need pictures, any evidence it has been painted ?,possible it has been done in an earlier 14 colour
or previous keeper had it painted in a colour they liked and not a standard Nissan Paint
edit: completely forgot the chassis tag paint code

Well the chassis number indicates DN1 which is emerald green, but what ive been told is you could have it resprayed any Nissan Stock colour afterwards if you had the money.. the original owner also lived in a very rich area too so possible... anyways ill post pictures for you guys to give opinions

Cobalt Green, my old S14a had the same colour code and came up as this, Emerald Green is a lot less blue. My S14 is Marlin Blue and was a lot more blue than Cobalt or Emerald

Yup, I'm about 99% sure without seeing it in person. If you do a Google search for DN1 paint, it comes up with Cobalt Green.
It's a common mistake people make calling every green S14a Emerald Green.

That's what Nissan put on the brochure, so that's what people call it.
