    S14 FMIC install

I'm due to fit a front mount intercooler and just thought I'd ask if there is anything that can be removed while I'm taking the front apart. I've noticed something under the fuse box that looks like it could be removed. Apart from removing stuff everything else seems to be straightforward. Thanks.

You could remove the stock recirculating valve and replace with aftermarket or remove it and block necessary pipes.

What do i do about the oem wastegate actuator pipe as there isn't anywhere it can go when the new intercooler pipes go on.

You can get a take off kit that fits to a coupler...I think revotec sells them. Nice simple option

    On an EBC?
Yes mate. One of those will just replace the boost nipple on the intercooler pipework that your saying you haven't got, if that makes sense?

Can i just take the actuator pipe to this directly thus removing the pipe to the stock i.c pipe?

I have never had a completely standard set up

I assume 1 of those pipes goes to the ic pipework, on the new pipework you just need a take off to replace it. If yours doesn't already have 1 welded on buy one of those ones from revotec (or locate a cheaper version)

With regard to your question I think you will still need a hose directly to the ic pipework.

Yeah one hose goes into the standard ic pipework I'm just confused as to where the pipe for the actuator goes lol.

Will go to 1 of the ports on the solenoid (no idea which) then the other hose goes to the IC pipework....without ever seeing one that's how I see it logically. If you Are only running actuator pressure bin the solenoid and run a hose from actuator to ic pipework
