Juicers - which one to get?

The other half wants a juicer type thing for her birthday. The obvious / most common search result is the nutribullet but there are plenty of poor reviews for them including not working for long, motors burning out quickly, cup tabs breaking and leaking etc.

Are there any other must see brands or is it just suck it and see?

What about these cold press juicers (biochef etc)?

I dic the research and found the nutribullet had terrible reviews, so bought one anyway then the cups started leaking (as the reviews said) so binned it

I now have a blend active thing, but just moved house and havent unpacked it yet so couldnt give you the model nubmer. It is brilliant for juicing (for her) and blending milkshakes(for me).

    found it!!
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Breville-VB...ds=nutribullet

its very cheap and has lasted over a year of daily use.

We have a nutribullet and it's pretty good.

Makes decent batter for pancakes/yorkshire pudding as well.

Another vote for the Breville blend active one user23456 noted above we got one about 18 months ago, it has made at least 6 or 8 smoothies every week since and we haven't had any issues to date (touch wood).

At the price I can't fault it; ice, nuts, raw vegetables (carrots / broccoli) etc. are no problem to it and we even ordered more bottles for it which made life a bit easier...
