Less thank 4 weeks away now, it's time for an update:
We're pretty much ready to go, just finalising a few bits. We've sorted loo hire and showers (more detail on that below).
So the important bit. It's now going to cost £29.20 per person for the weekend for food and facilities (make sure you select goods and services and that price includes the fees)
Please send a payment to events@sxoc.com and SELECT THE CLUB TO PAY FEES.
MAKE SURE YOU PUT THESE THINGS TWO IN THE REFERENCE:
1) ANGLESEY
2) YOUR NAME AND ANYONE ELSE YOURE PAYING FOR
There will be a name and shame list and severe drinking penalties for last to pay :-p
Now to the details, the club are lending us the van (thanks folks), we are hiring loos but there are no showers to be had.
The plan is to give the ladies exclusive use of the single indoor shower in the attached farmhouse and the lads are going to slum it with four portable cheapo showers. We're all going to have to work together to make this happen and all chip in with things like cooking, cleaning and refilling showers etc.
Lads: Bring some swimwear if you're feeling body conscious as the showers are literally a bag of water with a nozzle on the end and they'll be hanging all next to each other behind one o the barns! Sadly it's the best we can do at such short notice!
Ryan is sorting out the food (thanks bud) and that is included in the price, there will be some beer/booze provided as prizes and drinking penalties for the challenges we're planning to keep ourselves entertained but I'd suggest bringing plenty for yourselves and perhaps some snacks to keep yourselves going between meals.

Hi All
To bring you up to speed:
In the wake of the date changing for the weekender, a few of us who couldn’t make the September dates began discussing doing a camping trip on the original dates in August.
This was kept low-key as we obviously didn’t want to take away from the official club event in September.
In light of the September event being cancelled however, we would like to extend an invitation to any SXOC members would like to join us for a spot of camping, BBQ, booze & banter from 19th – 21st August in Anglesey, North Wales.
There is no track day unfortunately, however Anglesey circuit is nearby and there is 24hr 2CV racing on that weekend if you need a motorsport fix
The land we are camping on is owned by one of our members, so it goes without saying that usual club rules regarding not acting the chunt apply.
There are about 30 people on board at present, and we can probably accommodate in the region of 50 total.
There will be a charge per person to cover food, power, facilities etc, in the region of £40-£50 per head.
Fair warning also, there is likely to be a lot of loud music and shouting into the wee hours each night, in case that’s not your scene
So please let me know below if you are available that weekend and would like to join us?
