    Cleaning Help!

    Morning

I have just had my PS resprayed and I want to keep her looking lovely and shiney! My question is...what would be the best way to do this?
I have been told to wash then glaze on a weekly wash, then every 3 months polish, glaze, seal, wax and then use a detailer.

Do you have any recommendations on what to use?

    I have been recommended :
    - Cherry Glaze All in one
    - Black Magic Carnauba Paste Wax
    - The King of Gloss

    Here is a pic

If it was mine, id wait a while before using anything to allow the paint to harden. (Not sure if this is a thing anymore, but better to be safe than sorry)

Then use Poorboys blackhole glaze, and a decent sealant/wax. I personally use Finishkare 1000p/one with the shark on it.

After washing id dry then go over it with Zanio z8, spray sealant. Bloody awesome!

Don't polish it more than you have too, I do mine 3/4 a year ish with a rotary (complete waste of time as I then drift it into stuff, but it makes me feel better). Always try to snowfoam before washing, and don't do stupid shit like rubbing dirt into it

Best bet would be to head over to detailing world forums, helpful bunch and have many product reviews meaning you can pick something suited to you

First off, the colour looks fantastic mate, is it some form of midnight purple?

The above seems like overkill to me tbh. The thing to remember is that all vehicle polishes are abrasive, and they work by stripping away a microscopic layer of lacquer to reveal the shiny smooth surface beneath.

If done properly a freshly painted car like yours will not need to be polished/detailed for a long time, depending on how much you drive it and how well you mind the paint.

The best way to keep it pristine is to wash it at home yourself by hand using a mild car shampoo (look up the two bucket method). Never use the car wash at your local garage as the brushes usually carry lots of grit and shite which will scratch up the paint. After washing, dry the car completely and use a good quality wax/sealant - not sure what people use now but I always liked the Dodo Juice stuff. They have different types specialised for light/dark colours etc and are about £30 a tub and can be applied by hand, but you'll get ages out of it as waxing once every 3 months is plenty.
