Hello everyone,

At first i will introduce myself a little before talking about the S12.

Im Glenn, 25 yrs old and living in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Got a job as a engineer and planner in construction.
Got no background in cars whatsoever but learning everyday. Mark (Sunny1600) told me about this forum and the way bigger scene in The UK. Might come over this year..

Allright. My car is a '86 Nissan Silvia S12 which i bought around two years ago from a guy who imported the car from Germany.

It already came with a specialy for S12 made Apex coilover kit and a swapped CA18DET. I'll keep it short, he did not a well job. Wiring was useless, everyday something else in the cluster died and in the end the engine blew.

How i bought the car.





Like said the broke down, decided to strip it down and start from the beginning..

Done:

Rust removal, not much tho.
Lowered floor and custom seat frame.
Chassis bracing.
Made more room for wheels in the rear. Arc is 60 mm higher than stock.

Swapped a SR20DE and added the Turbo.
Rewired the whole car
Painted the bay in a Mercedes Metallic black
Added a Origin PS13 / Silvia s13 bodykit

In 1.5 years later the car looks like this.

Welcome mate, I'm a big fan of the S12, not very common on the roads anymore.

If you're planning a road trip to the UK, do it at the end of August for the club weekender in Rockingham Circuit

Thanks everyone! And indeed s12 are dying, over here we got 45 still registered.

Next friday she's going for the MOT. Let's hope for the best. Afterwards a bit more low, finish the wing and some other exterior stuff. First event at the 8th of may.
