Manual steering rack

Not necessarily something I'm going to attempt but it would certainly make my RB conversion easier & less cluttered.
Has anyone done this & if so what were the lasting impressions?

Don't know of anyone who's done this - but I'm currently deciding between this route (Well, I was considering buying the off the shelf version tbh) or calling some favours in Japan to replace the huge number of leaky pipes I have
