Your car looks great mate! I'm looking forwards to seeing it in the flesh
Cheers Joedy. I'm hoping to have it road legal asap, you'll no doubt see it soon enough.
Ste, its just a holiday issue with work (I may not have enough due to family holidays). If I'm down I'll probably not be on track. I won't have enough time to really prep it.
That's a lovely Chaser, I considered buying one of these as a daily but knew I'd end up modifying it and making my s14a redundant.
White is defo the best colour on these as well Best of luck with it and hope you enjoy it!
So Jamie kindly offered to come help clean the Chaser for me to save me the cost of getting it detailed. Top Man!
So we started with a wee foam bath:
Then actually started to try and wipe of the 3 months of dock and sea air shit. This was the best 50/50 shot I could get of the bonnet
Then we had no more photos till the end where Jamie Iron Ex'd it and then we gave it a seal and was, I think... but anyway... on with the finished pics:
Mega happy with how the paint has turned out!
Very nice car , reminds me of my chaser on gran tourismo
Cool

The car looks absolutely amazing!
Thanks. Its now on the road and mod planning has begun. Now running Uniroyal Rain Sport 3's all round as 1 week with the Triangle Ditchfinders on the front was torture!
Next up is bushes. I plan on buying a kfd rear arm kit and poly bushing the rear subframe. No solid mounts or rose joints will go near this as it will be mostly a road car that my daughter will be in
After that I have a wedding LOL so we'll have to wait and see what the purse string hold.
Looks lovely, the paint looks awesome in the post wash pics

It was a very rare sunny day in Scotland. Needs to get a freshen up before the Camping Weekender though
That looks epic all cleaned up. Going to get myself some Iron X I think!
Just ordered up some SuperPro bushes for the rear subframe and front castor arms and a complete TRD Rear Diff bush kit. Need to get my aftermarket arms ordered too. Its all starting again...
Really awesome car! Would love to hear that revving ( perhaps a you tube video) Health to drive!
So yeah, here is my latest purchases:
This should tighten up the rear end of the car and stop it clunking about as much.
Also here is a nice pic showing Ayrshire at its best:
I will try and get a video soon as I need to make one to help sell the exhaust as it is a little too loud for me and my daughter.
So this hasn't seen an update in a while.... we fitted all the new bushes and the rear clunking was better, but not fixed. We didn't fit the rear arm kit as I didn't supply any droplinks and Chris @ DynaTune didn't want to risk having the car stranded on his ramp while we waited for them should there be a problem with the existing ones.
Since last October the car has been used daily and been great. I got married in Feb there so all my cash went into that, but since thats done I can now have some fun. I bought some new BC Sport BR Coilovers, I've got a STACK boost gauge to be fitted and the best part, I get my new custom exhaust fitted mid April. The current one is too loud with the bung out and raspy and horrible with the bung in (imagine a shitty Honda rasp).
So after all this in April, I plan to start saving for my new clutch and AP 4 Pot kit. I want to get all the suspension and brakes fixed this year, then its onto power next year. Got plans to use a new Link Kurofune in the car and hopefully run nice topmounted GTX3076r. I've seen these being run on cars at 1bar and performing rather well... see the video below for an example.
At some point as well the car needs painted, but we'll see if I can do that in between everything else LOL
