Dropped the car off at my mates garage for him to make me a downpipe & custom intercooler pipework. Here's the 1st mock up picks. Can't wait to see the finished job.

    👋 Hi everyone.
I've been concentrating on work a lot recently but the last few days have given me chance to crack on with my car.
I dropped out the engine, box & the complete bay ancillaries.
Then I plated & filled the aircon holes & layed down a coat of primer.

I then spent a day grinding down the welds on my tubs & gave them a skim of seam sealant.

I then gave the front wings a clean, prime & underseal.

I've got a mate helping me with welding in a few plates where the old looms came through the bulkhead & then we are going to fill all the unused holes in the bay & front slam panel.

Still waiting on my body guy to prep & paint my engine bay so I decided to strip & paint engine parts.
So I mounted the rb box on my engine stand & began cleaning with brake cleaner & a wire wheel.
Will paint today & change the output seal just incase.

Thanks mate, that's about 6 hours work on the box.
Hoping to start on the rb strip & clean this weekend.
I've ordered new gaskets & seals so after the clean down I can rebuild the engine with no leaks.

Began stripping down & cleaning the RB block.
Wire wheeled & cleaned the block. Removed all the fittings & drain plugs & cleaned them up too.

I'm removing the oil filter housing so I can also do away with the coolant pipes that run to it. I'm going to cut the fittings off & plug weld the steel pipe.
I'm also doing away with the throttle body cooling.
I've just put in a nice order with conceptua which should be here for next weekend.

Looks really good why not do away with filter houseing all together and buy a stud from conceptua and fitt a new housing from conceptua that's got take offs for gauges like oil pressure and temp and doesn't come with coolest pipe fittings so is very neat.
