So shifting through 7th cost Nico nothing but cost Lewis half a race of being down on power. If you'd go back to it now, would you make the radio call and get 10 seconds added to Lewis time to see him go through the field?

well Nico did lose 2nd place, and 3 points, which is what it could come down too, you never know.
If Mercedes knew that would be the penalty then yea they probably would of told Lewis in Baku, at best it only cost lewis 4th place over Kimi, even then he was a fair way back from Kimi.
Think they need to add 4wd to the safety car, Bernd Milander was really 'on it' and yet was almost causing the F1 cars to trip over one another! Shows just how much different a race car is even compared to a 'super' road car!
AMS GTR with wets will keep a decent enough speed up for the F1 boys to moan a little less.
Sat at my desk watching FP1, Mercedes got some serious pace already over the rest of the field, hopefully they will close the gap.
Looking forward to this weekend Hungary is always a good race, this time last year I was there watching it.
Rosberg has sign a new deal as well till 2018. When does Lewis' run out.

Just watching FP1 and they're talking about the new radio rules, how about a counterpoint, driver coaching would result in cars going faster so surely cars would get closer to each other and then there would be more racing. No, I'm not convinced either.
Oh right. Wonder what clauses Merc insisted on.

Can't say I understand the logic of not removing Nico's lap time.
The other drivers backed out entirely. Regardless of whether the car that caused the flags was there or not by the time Nico got there, that's for the Marshalls to decide when to withdraw the double waved yellows.
No way is a lift which costs .1 of a second's lap time double waved yellow territory. That makes an absolute mockery of it.
Extremely unsporting if nothing else.
The only way i see that its ok is that when Nico arrived the danger was clear. Different for the other drivers that had the car of Alonso's on the track, by the time Nico got there it was clear.
Well then ditch the flags and let the driver make the decision whether it's clear or not?
Hmm lets see... german driver... needs a boost... can we bend the rules...
yup check....
Ok ... am i wrong?
^^^ couldn't agree more... Its clear as day nico is the favourite as far as Toto and Lauda are concerned. Really frustrates me.
He doesn't deserve it.
I'm not even saying Hamilton does... But he deserves it much more than Nico.
Max is by far the most deserving so far this season - what a racer!

Getting bored of watching other people when the leaders are closing together. Not the first time recently

I was thinking that... They should of followed hammy on the last lap.. Especially when nico was less than a second behind him! Just stuck watching kimi for a good 5 laps
