    A blast from the past

Hey peeps, it's been a very long time. I'm pretty sure I probably won't know anyone on here anymore, but I used to be a member around 10 years ago, back when I had an S13. I've got a lot of good memories with this club with visits to JAE (getting hammered ) and the odd dyno day so after getting back into the car scene I'd thought I'd re-join as I've always loved this place.

I currently own a Toyota Supra, but would love to stick around and meet new peeps on here.

Welcome back! After a 10 year foray into diesel estate cars I'm also thinking of returning to the fray and unearthing my S13 from the shed.

Hi and welcome back i am also in Southampton. What supra do you drive?

Feel free to join us at some of the local (and national) events, have a look in the Dorset & hants section for all our local events and introduce yourself in the "hants & dorset personal check" thread to be included in the mass pm notifications of events etc.

    Hopefully see you soon

Hi mate, thanks! I'll definitely have a look at coming along to some of the local events.

I drive a silver UK-Spec TT auto. Going to convert to manual this winter.

I drive a diesel estate as my daily. The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing I have a turbo RWD car sat in the garage. Do it.

I can't believe some of the old firm are still alive! I notice that Petrol is still going OCD on S13's, it's like I never left.

Arry! All is good thanks bud. It's been a very long time, indeed! I'm on tapatalk, but I had to switch to web view just to check your post count. I dunno... something is suspicious here, I think it's been clocked.

How's things? What are you driving these days?

Dunno where we left you TBH mate, but I think it was whilst I was driving round in an obscure Fiesta

So I sort of did this for a while:

    Then I did this:

Then I went very, very sensible for a bit - well, like 4 years :

And then I made the inevitable mistake of asking the SXOC for recommendations for a diesel, reliable, practical car under £8k.......and bought a 911 with a handgrenade as an engine

What's this Supra all about then eh?

I remember up to the DC2 and I'm quite thankful I missed out on your 'sensible' phase! That's surprising to hear about the Porsche... I would have thought it was fairly reliable being and out-of-packet kinda deal. Oh well, it looks nice I guess mate.

After my S13 I ended up getting another Renault 5 GT Turbo.

240bhp in a biscuit tin was great fun.

Then after looking at the way the market was going, I realised it now or never to get another Supra, so after a hunting around I found this completely stock UK-Spec 3 years ago.

After getting the car, I went BPU (decat/exhaust system/HKS FCD/iridium plugs/boost controller), updated the ICE and lowered it slightly. I think the highlight for the car was being featured next to the FT-1 on the Toyota stand at Goodwood last year.

Toyota also did a little feature on it for their blog which was pretty cool.

I've found myself a bit torn with what to do with the car because the more I tweak it, the more it depreciates. Whatever the case, I don't really plan on selling up.

    How the car currently looks:

Me and my girlfriend have finally just secured a house so once we've moved in, I'd really like to find a Z31 or a 180 for another little side project.

Adam does your partner have the pink supra?

I saw yours at goodwood last year and its so clean and original looking, nice to see such a clean un-molested example of these type of cars.
