Newbie from Isle of Wight - Damson 14

Hi all,

Just wanted to say a quick hello from the Isle of Wight...

Got myself a Damson 14 back in October and slowly been putting my own personal touch to it. Not to everyone's taste but that isn't something I care about as it makes me smile every time I look and drive her.

Previous owner had some stickers on the dash so the care inherited the name Sushi

Been following the forum for a while and look forward to hopefully meeting some of you along the way.

Welcome it was just yesterday i was thinking of organising a car trip over to the isle of wight with a few of us so keep an eye on the dorset and hants section!

Also introduce yourself in the "dorset and hants personal check" thread so we all know who you are!

Re- your car who cares what anyone else thinks it's your car and you do what you think is good and makes you happy.

I would suggest getting in on an Isle of Wight Car Club event - go on a weekend they're doing something and go join in. It's a real laugh, and they have visitor options so you can have a go. Nothing like driving flat out round the botanical gardens to wake you up and remind you you're alive

Car looks mint mate love them in damson! and I love the IOW, always used to go over with the old man for the scooter rally and was always a hoot! Pointz im defo up for a trip over there, get the tents out we got a driving weekend in the summer!
