So both my rear main and front main seals are leaking. Whilst the car is off the road over winter I am planning on changing them. But can’t seem to find anywhere that sells them. Anyone got any ideas? I haven’t tried my local Nissan dealer yet but they never have SX parts in stock and take forever to get them ordered in
Nissan is really your best bet, but someone like Conceptua tuning or JDM garage might have some. Make sure they are OEM quality, don't buy cheap ones
conceptua on ebsy use kenjutsu ones which seem to be pretty decent.
Do they mostly leak when parked up, or when driving ? if you can tell.
I'm just wondering if your breather system is bunged up, causing pressure inside the crankcase. It may not be the seals at fault in that case.
They leak most when parked up. The front one has been leaking slightly for a couple of years. The rear one only started leaking when I changed it (I buggered up the seal surround)Originally Posted by Jon
