    New turbo time....

Ive been running my GTX2863r for near on 2 years now and i love it, amazing little thing but im fancying going a bit further. Dont need the extra power for drifting but theres a few track & hill climb events kicking off local to me and i'll be in the same class as 500hp evo's... (im aware ill still have no chance but its worth trying )

Will be initially buying a turbo to go on my mates new motor build then i'll go from there:
Steel motor, arp hardware, cosworth gasket, crower valve springs and 264 cams, Wardy externally gated t25 manifold. Looking for around 450hp but numbers arent all that... (his last car was a 5-600hp, big single, rb26 r33gtst so it needs to be fairly exciting.

I was orginally thinking about owens own ODGTX2867r with the nissan front cover but chappie at owens advised me against that due to the nissan cover and internally gated turbine housing becoming restrictive at higher power levels. Then started looking at a GTX3071r http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/pr...rett_GTX3071R/ with a t25 turbine housing ( http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GTH ), does anyone have any experience of this? We are basically limited by the exhaust manifold, which was bought before the rebuild with the intention of only running a smaller 28 frame turbot.

This HKS housing would bolt straight on with a GTX3071R core, it's a decent A/R as well:
