    Any reviews on these connecting rods on ebay?

    Has anyone used these or familiar with the brand/supplier? Want to start my forged build soon and was going to use maxspeedingrods ones but been told they are crap chinese quality!

    They will be the same just a different name.

    Will probably be fine but for piece of mind stick with the well named ones

    Look the same as the Apex rods.

    I was undecided, and in the end came to the conclusion that shoddy quality controlled items were going to be no better than stock quality designed and engineered parts. In the end I fitted gtir 54c rods which are much thicker and run a larger bearing. With arp bolts as when researching it seemed the bolts were the weakness, not the rod itself (especially gtir ones)

    I was looking at maxspeeding rods but wss warned to stay away with this msg from a friend-

    Mate steer clear of those rods there cheep Chinese shit. Only 200£ new there was a big write up on how the way there oil holes can cause failure.

    So is anyone actually running either of these brand rods

    If you're forging your engine and not in a rush, do it properly and get known parts imo. Importing from Japan/USA can work out cheaper too

    That's what i am thinking, better safe than sorry as they say.

    Don't know if any of the forum traders can supply them? Going to have a look at apex website now!
