My 98 silvia s14a track only car.

    Hello

    My name is Jack

New to sxoc and drifting. Only had my driving licence since March 2015 year and fortunately got a gt86 for my first car in July 2015. Iv been on bikes since I was 16 owning 7 in total including 2 I still own which are cbr6000rr rr7 and rs250 race bike which I raced last year and enjoyed. Hence rs2fidy. However with a few injuries and a lot of time off work I felt it was gonna hamper my career aspirations so called it a day and decided drifitng is the Motorsport I want to compete in.

Spent quite a while searching for a car and recently purchased this s14a.

Now some of you might be thinking why buy a car like that when I have zero experience........it's because the past year I have worked such silly hours at my work (1 month I did more than 120hrs overtime) and I just thought '**** it'

In desperate need of a unit or barn space to rent to get the car and trailer in as I currently have them dotted about Hertfordshire making it difficult to do anything with. More than happy to rent with someone to split the costs. I live in Hertfordshire so if there's anyone else out there interested please say as I really wanna get cracking with this new experience of cars for me. As you can see I have no space in the current garage!

Any advice etc is always welcome.

    Thanks

    Hello Jack welcome to sxoc

Car looks like it's seen a bit of action!

Any additional plans with the car or just leaving as it is for now?

yh previous owner used it at pembrey whenever he could but its a nice solid car. ok bodywork tatty but I'm bound to plough it into something.

Plans are just to drive it and practice as much as possible then once I feel ready do stuff to iy. Its current spec is well beyond my driving level so should be more than enough.

In saying that id love a 2jz motor but that's not for a while........

You certainly can. The inner arch has some rust but easily fixable everything else is pretty solid
