STARTING ISSUES ,need some help

so have had the car maybe 6 months ,had another 200sx previous for 4-5 years so am relativly used to them.

its a forged sr,with cams,740's,apexi power fc,and the rest general setup.

and am now having problems with starting it from dead cold.literally turns over then will randomly pop like its misfiring now and again itl keep trying to start then just sound like its turning ovr ,takes about 10 minutes atm did start off at 30 seconds to a minute.then boom will just come into life completly and and be fine may have a slight like misfire not firing on all cylinders for about 2-3 seconds once its dcided it wants to start,

have checked compression and all good,have spark and have fuel going in and once its starts its perfect.check the ignition pack thing near the turbo and has power(and it starts....eventually)

any ideas ??

Not familiar with the power fc,but people have reported you need really good earths with them, it may not be the problem but good earths always help.

That's a good place to start so will give them a good go tomorrow.any other ideas from anyone to check cheers for the reply.

what plugs are you using and whats the gap?

also would you say the timing is spot on? id fiddle with the crank angle sensor
