Overnutter's Kuro Disaster S14a very long term project.

I've been meaning to make a build thread along time so here goes.

My Sbody life started with this:
    A 1992 PS13

    That quickly transformed into this:

Then the worst day imaginable for any sx owner:

Some idiot decided to text and not pay attention.

A few months later I got back into another Sbody,
    A S14a stage 1a,

    Spec list as follows
Apexi FMIC inc 2.5'' custom stainless inlets
Japspeed full short shift kit inc new baseplate and seals
cold and hot air stainless pipes
    M24-c1 A/R 60 Garrett turbo
Greddy Profec B progressive boost controller currently running at 12psi
    Nismo solid geabox mount
    Locked rear diff
KYB AGX fully adjustable shocks & Tein S tech springs all round
    Nissan R33 Skyline wheels
    Nissan GTR34 / 350z 4 pot front brembo disc & caliper conversion
Stainless goodridge brake lines all round
    Yellow Stuff Front pads
Nissan GTR35 front 4 pot Brembo calipars and big disc conversion inc braided lines
    TRW rear red compound pads
Japspeed full 3'' stainless exhaust system including decat pipe
2 piece metal gasket conversion for exhaust & turbo (eliminates blowing / replacement)
Forge blanks (for fmic boosted side no dump valve prevents leakage) also has a bailey dump valve
fully mapped & tuned ecu Stage 1A @ Horsham developments i
    Walbro 255lph upgraded fuel pump
Apexi stainless filterbox enclosure and full bolt on (from AFM) Apexi air filter

Soon the Grids went back on it

Soon after, coil overs went on found the kyb to soft.

Keep posted for more updates, the car is totally different form the photo's above.

Mate that's such a shame re- the ps13 that looked very nice! But the 14a is nice what other plans you got for it and is your turbo all good now?

After a few months i had no rear brakes left and swapped the z32 brake conversion on the back and some different wheels as my rota's where no longer legal.

Also note kouki wing, and srb roof spoiler on it now.

    So then came the rust

Big thanks to Bigdubs on here who did the welding, and spizedwezel for making the sils.

then thanks to matt at limitless imports who sourced me some origin overfenders

Now jump forward to the day when simply jap was hosted at beuileu, this was 2 days after i got the car back from Bigdubs, so fitted the rota grids back on.

The car went fine from Abingdon -> Pangbourne -> Down to the meeting point for simply jap, 5 mins after i had brake failure.

With help from the AA guy we got it back up and running and made it there

Since then car has been fine did the SXOC weekender happily, got to japshow finale fine and on the way home it didn't want to have a turbo gasket anymore.

now that has been fixed its a good car again.

Plan wise going forward, some new sideskirts, and change of wheels. Hopefully in the early part of next year a new turbo.

So its been very slow since the last update/creation of this thread.

I've been waiting on some different new parts, but the main reason I've been waiting is that the car doesn't rev over 4k anymore. Ever since itblew a boost
    pipe.

I narrowed it down to 3 things, fuel, air, bang.

mr_pea nicely organised an fuel filter for me, found out it should have a z32 filter for stage 1a but turns out its only an aneichent s14 one.
He is also nicely donating his coilpacks for testing.

However the biggest news is this:

Going from an APEX type 2 (bottom) to a PSM high mount
Also new front wings have been ordered more on that soon.

Its been rather quiet and not full of updates in here, due to me not being around much to work on the car.
Now as its easter and I am shut out of work for this week there is a fair amount going on.

List of planned things to do this week.
    - Inner track rods
    - Front Tension rods/arms
    - Fit bigger BMC
    - Rebuild rear shocks
    - Roll front arches
    - Trim rear ovefenders
    - Oil and Filter change.
    - Fuel filter change to a Z32 one
once all that is done its booked in for alignment on the EA alignment day.

So this was the saite of the car after rear coilovers where removed and started on the inner track rods.

The drivers side was even worse thankfully they are now replaced.

The rear coilovers have deffinetly seen better days:

I rebuilt them with the springs from my PS and also replaced the boot that covers the damper.

So its been a rather long time since this was updated, allot has happened and not allot of driving but this will change soon.

Since my last update I've had a change in jobs meaning less working on the car a bit less spending on it.

What has happened is that the car has had a new subframe fitted, along with some other goodies.

If you guessed and guessed correctly the car now has solid subframe and geomasters fitted....
    meaning its rather low

That was the maximum ride height, since then its had CS2 coilovers fitted. Now all its needs is me finding time to get it allinged.

Also new wheels have been purchased, more to come later......
