ECU Questions s14a

I'm changing from an auto to manual and I have a few questions.

Id like to do the swap properly, no bodged wiring. Id like to run a manual box (obviously), diff and ecu. Basically make it a full on manual car with no auto bits left over.

Car is an s14a btw.

Provided i wire the reverse/ speed sensors in, will i be able to plug in (after getting it coded) a manual s14a ecu? As in will there be any other issues or will it just run fine?

Also will there be any implications with running an after market ECU in future, e.g. apexi PFC ?

I didn't bother changing my ecu when mine was converted to manual so can't really help with that part, but I now have a power fc fitted and haven't had any issues.
