    Modified car insurance

Who do you use? My policy on my Prelude daily is up for renewal and despite taking a payment from me when i informed them id lowered it to make up the difference , they're now saying they won't renew my policy on the grounds of it being modified. So I'm using the usual sites, compare the market etc and the best quote i have so far is £550 for the year fully comp. Who do you guys use then?

Yep, as above or any of the insurers on this forum. The ones on the comparison sites don't do mods.

How old are you? I recommend green light to pretty much everyone I speak to. I've used the other insurance brokers mentioned in this thread and for me green light are head and shoulders above everyone else.

    Depends on the mods.

Admiral I have declared mods to inlet (filter), exhaust and decor (clear indicators).

They definitely say "no big turbo".

A-Plan, Greenlight, Flux, Sky and anyone else in the forums insurance section

A-Plan and Greenlight have always been far and away the best/most helpful for me, Sky and Flux I barely bother with any more tbh..

Seriously, fcuk Admiral and its affiliates. They made my life very difficult and it was impossible to contact anyone, in this country, who could do anything. Avoid.

All of the ones that fmg has mentioned above are good.

Need2insure, REIS, and CCI are worth a mention as well.

I've switched between A-Plan and Sky since owning my 200. At renewal time I generally speak to A-Plan, Flux, Keith Michaels and Sky, all of which have, in my experience, been extremely helpful when getting renewal quotes.

    Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
    Regards,
    Dan.
