Thought I might introduce myself as I will probably be putting a wanted ad up in a sec!
A few years back I sr20'd and rust repaired a mates s13, since then I wanted an s13 so 3 and a half years ago I bought a project that turned out to be a big big project! I spent about a year of weekends on it then got offered my dream job as a race mechanic and had to move from my West Sussex home to Worcestershire so the s13 got left in my parents garage.
Before I bought the car it had stood in a field for about 8/9 years so s you can imagine was rather rusty, and completely standard!
I've done more welding than I care to remember, including custom cross member and removable slam panel. Fitted an evo intercooler and custom mounts,pipes and rad set up. Fitted hsd coil overs, rebuilt all calliper, fuel tank, replaced the head gasket. Amoungst loads of other bits!
So last week I spent a week at my parents and got it mot'd 😀
Still a long way to go till it's where I want it though.
