    I'm back with S13 #6

Loads still to do before I can get it on the road but, you know, it's getting there

Looking at this picture makes me happy

Right so, long story short this is the ex-Petrol S13 of massive restoration thread fame - as soon as I saw he was planning to sell it I got straight in there with a PM. Even after 8 years of daily use it's still super clean

Back in Feb I bought RohanC's old S13, which had some really nice bits on but was uber rusty. It sat at my mate's workshop until a month or so ago when he finally got round to investigating it properly; resulted in a call saying "Pete, I think you need to come and take a look at this before I go any further"

So technically it's S13 #7 but as I only drove Rohan's once it doesn't really count, plus I'd like to think the spirit of the car will live on as most of the parts will be on here

So I'm now in the process of combining the two (hence the PlusGas), I bought Petrol's as a completely standard car but I have some nice bits to fit:

R33 front seats with rear bench trimmed to match (from Matt_S's RB25 SilEighty)
Tein Flex with EDFC (also I believe from the very same original SilEighty)
RLTC (though I can't see that I'll use this, I may sell it)
Cusco upper and lower strut braces
    Stage 1 setup
    Trusty old Mongoose exhaust

It's going to be full 2005-spec by the time I'm finished!

EDIT: Oh yeah, Jezz and Sidewaysfun those are indeed GoPro mounts, Pete's son put them on there, I'm not sure if I want to keep them or not, they look crap but I am planning to do some trackdays so could be handy

Very Nice, reads as a cool plan and one proper sweet 13 at the end
glad to read a 13 getting some love ,at least the other car/shell will sort of live on

The other shell will live on, my friend who was I was paying to repair it is going to weld it up himself in his own time as a project - he's got his work cut out mind!

This is how I was able to afford it, overall with selling what's left the re-shell is only costing me marginally more than what he quoted me for the welding and I'll have a much better car at the end of it

Thanks, I think the photos are kind to the bodywork, but at least it isn't completely rusty!

I'm definitely going to try to get to some trackdays next year, look out for me if you go to a Motorsport Events day

Nice to see a few of the old guard posting on here - a 2005 spec car deserves a 2005-spec thread
