need some info and advice please on my s13 ca18det build

any help and advice is good thanks
i wanna know what turbo to run on my forged ca18 been told t28 , t28r , gt35 so if someone could shed some light on thatplease, i was going along with the t28 or t28r but what is best cheers

also once it is up and running i wanna aim for 250-300+ bhp what injectors etc do i need to do, also have a 255 fuel pump already!
also what type of fuel lines is everyone using, when i brought the car it had none so as i have to fit them if upgraded ones are needed i could do it now

thanks for any help and advice

also after some after market front mount intercooler pipework cheers

If you only want 250-300bhp then a T28R and a set of 444 injectors is what you're looking for.
You'd be able to use a Stage 3 chip so no needing to go and get it mapped, you would also need a Z32 AFM.

need some info and advice please on my s13 ca18det build

    If I was you:

Gt28r for cheapness or gtx2867r for pure awesomeness and power

550cc injectors (just in case you want more powers in the future)

And a h-Dev chip or go see Jez for a custom map

What's the spec on your forged CA?

I was debating replacing the lines on mine for braided Teflon, probably your best bet unless you can get hold of standard metal lines that go underneath the car

With the specs you just gave me your engine is easily capable of these figures, Could even push it further towards the 350+ mark with the other turbo I suggested and run more boost if it has a thicker head gasket, would suggest arp head studs though if you ever decide to take it further

It starts to get expensive though

I'd say 300 max to be safe, my car ran 286 on standard internals engine was at 100k and was spot on, only reason it came out was because I had a forged one to go in

Dunno about "uprated" fuel lines. Most S13 being broken will have too much rot on the fuel lines to allow removal intact.

When my first S13 failed MOT on fuel line rot above back axle I just cable tied 8mm high pressure fuel hose the whole way for both.
    Tank > filter
    Return fuel rail > tank

If you want bigger then you need 2 short lengths of 8mm and some sort of joiner to join them to the stock 8mm tank, filter and fuel rail outlet.

Not sure to be honest, was wondering that myself as I've built mine but haven't got it in the car to start it yet, although I have different cams which will effect timing etc

I'm sure it'll be fine as long as you don't rev the granny out of it, just let it tick over

Its bad for a freshly built engine to be left to idle for a long time it needs to be driven keeping the revs below 4k or chance you could glaze the cylinders i believe.

Also you need to run the engine in for a 1k miles before mapping tbh if you fit t28r and 444 just fit a stage 3 chip to run it in then go for mapping
