nice ,ones hands are a blur, and it reminded me of the beetle from record breakers with the engine on wingnuts
and there was a mk3 'scort someone yanked the motor out in 10 seconds or something daft like that

Every time I watch it, I still wonder if I'll get the engine out before the clock counts down!

Not quite so good version of when the engine came out of the breaker.

My friend Turbo'd a 3uz for his ultima started off well till it started having oil pick up issues, 1 rebuild later with a super nice dry sump system. Due to the rebuild he upped the boost a tiny bit and remapped but it ate head gaskets(both types) even tried 2 custom head gaskets, new heads but he was thinking it was down to the gap between the piston sleeves been closer together having less clamping area halving the PSI of boast helped but he put the forged 1uz back in in the end.

It was a shame as it made a huge difference on having a 3uz would put the power down stock compared to a early stock 1uz. The 3uz head flow so much better. I think(Not 100%) the 3uz flowed better stock than port and polished and cnc'd 1uz head.

His now playing with a different ultima with a diesel engine that runs on bio diesel(green diesel?) that doesn't sound like a diesel and revs stupidly high and I'm sure has which craft going on as it should rev to 6k and sound like a tractor :S
