    Ideal 17x7.5 Tyre Size

Just bought some cheap Rota's last night that need a refurb so will be doing the standard shock blast, primer & paint job on them but need advice on tyre size.

    They're only skinny at 17"x7.5", 5H x 114.3, ET15, CB, 73.6.

Will I need any spacers? Spigot rings? What tyres would fit?

    225/40/17?
    215/40/17?
    205/40/17?
    225/35/17?

    Thanks!

I'd go for the 225/40s mate. I had 205/40s on my 8J's and they were ok untill I put 225/45 on and they looked so much better!

    225/45/17

Dependant on offset, you may want to use spacers to make the wheels more flush. Saying that, decent spacers all round can add to costs, so it's probably better to just add it to the pot for stronger wheels in the future

225 45 or 235 40 are the rough oem tyre sizes for a 7.5j rim

Are you sure they're ET15, not ET45? Centre bore also should be 73.1

Usually on 17x7.5 we tend to fit 215/45 or 225/45 if that helps?

I'll get more piccy's of the stickers hopefully, mind you, they've probably been shock blasted off by now.
