Boot light.

Ok so ive searched but found nothing. How does the boot light switch on? I feel a bit dumb asking but the bulb is ok but doesn't work.

I think there is a micro switch inside the boot lock catch thingy in the rear panel, not in the boot lid itself
afaik that's were it is but been a while since looked tbh

Get a multimeter on the bulb contacts and see if you're getting 12v is proably the easiest thing to suggest

Ok so it turns out the switch is in the lock on the boot. I thought that there was one in the rear boot panel too but couldbt see anything(swear it was there on my old one). I didnt think to check the boot lid, was thinking that maybe it was on when the lights are on!

Did you get to the bottom of this mate?

My CF boot lid (with the disgraceful fitment) doesn't disengage my boot light. I've given up trying to get it to fit right so I'm thinking adjusting or repositioning the switch is my only option.

The switch was stuck so it thought the boot was always shut.
