    Brake line help

    Hi guys
So when fitting coilovers to the front of my s14a, the metal brake line out of the back of the caliper snapped so I have bought a set of driftworks braided lines as replacements .
But now run into a problem . Where the rubber pipe meets the copper pipe farther up it is very carroded and looks fragile. I've tried a set of vice grips on the nut, but it's not budging. Does anyone have any tips on how to get these separated :S and would it be worth replacing the whole copper pipe? Thanks

I put the spanner on it then tapped it with a hammer until it "cracked"
