    injector removal

    Hi folks
Tryin to remove the injectors from my 14a but have no idea where to start ?
Does the inlet have to be removed ?
Does the rail need to be removed to take out the injectors ?

    Thanks

Take the top half of the inlet off, undo the 2 screws holding the caps on (be careful, the screws are very soft and round easily) then pull the injectors out. They'll probably be tight so you may have to carefully use a pair of grips and wiggle them

Just remember when you put the back in to get a little bit of lubricant to put them back in with new o rings.

New orings is a 100% must, you do not want a fountain of petrol... and it will do it.

Watch those screws, they are a bag of crap so make sure you are using a good screwdriver on them.

As above. I replaced the injector screws with cap heads. So much easier next time around

The easiest way I've found is to use a large blade screw driver, leaver behind the area with the plug and they should pop out. Done right it'll cause little to no damage to the injectors unlike grips
