    Apex Performance Top Mounts

    Hi all,

I've just got around to fitting some new Top Mounts to my Apex Performance coilovers, which the previous owner told me were 'Gen 1's'.

The top plates (Part with the camber adjustment) seem to be the same but the parts between them and the spring are completely different.

    Old Top Mounts:

If anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Nick

The gen 1's used to twist the spring when they got older due to friction iirc so when they made the gen2 the bearing was added like normal car suspension for longevity. I cant comment if they will fit but i would expect them to be interchangeable.

    Cheers for the info jon.

If I put the whole new assembly, with bearing on, they don't seem to fit as well as the old set up. Does anyone know then, is it just the top plate part I replace with new?

Why don't you give Apex Performance a ring themselves? I'm sure they can give you a concrete answer.
